Writing Workshop with Dr. Rich Kent
April 16th 12:00 – 2:00 in the multi-purpose room. Writing Workshop.Please respond with questions or I-want-to-knows about writing and or publishing. That way, Dr. Kent can personalize the workshop for us. I’ll provide snacks.
Work to do….
- Complete a draft of paper for Student Stories publication
- Read the Bruffee and Warnock articles in packet and complete a reflective entry in your journal.
- Continue to record and reflect on your work in the writing center.
- Respond to questions on class blog http://writingcenter.edublogs.org
- Complete Poemcrazy and engage in some of the practices at the end of chapters.
- Complete a reflective journal entry about your work this trimester in the WC.
- Complete a reflective journal entry about Dr. Kent’s visit.
- Work on portfolio.
You will have lots of class time to work on all this while I am away. We will meet with Dr. Kent on April 16th and debrief on our experiences on April 18th. You will also have vacation to write.Portfolios will be due May 29th with a final reading in the round on the 29th and on June 2nd.
